The 8th Social Evening for PSU Foreign Employees

The International Affairs Office, PSU Hat Yai Campus, initiated in August 2012 a series of convivial gatherings among PSU foreign employees working in Hat Yai Campus, in order for all foreign employees to get to know each other and share experiences while enjoying a delicious dinner. Due to the positive results, it was followed by several such friendly events, at present having accomplished eight successful Social Evenings.

The 8th Social Evening for PSU Hat Yai Campus foreign employees, with the participation of representatives from the International Students Association, was organized on 13 September 2016 at Maroc Garden restaurant in Hat Yai. The event was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, PSU Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, and gathered 45 participants from 14 different countries: Australia, Cambodia, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Netherlands, Pakistan, P.R. China, Romania, Serbia, South Africa, Thailand and UK.

All participants appreciated the opportunity to express their views on life at PSU with other participants and share with PSU leadership their thoughts, opinions and difficulties met while working or studying at PSU. The satisfaction regarding the friendship and support received from PSU was also expressed.

The PSU International Affairs Office is looking forward to welcoming even more of its foreign employees with their families to the next Social Evening to be arranged in the first quarter of the year 2017.
