Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of Prince of Songkla University (PSU), led a team of 19 PSU representatives to visit two universities in Indonesia, namely the Universitas Riau in Pekanbaru on 13 February, and the Universitas Andalas in Padang on 15 February 2023.
The delegation consisted of representatives from eight PSU faculties, including Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Science, Science and Technology, Environmental Management, Engineering, and Natural Resources. The objectives of the visit were to strengthen the relationship and cooperation with these universities, meet with students who intend to study at PSU, give lectures and promote courses at the related faculties of Universitas Riau and Universitas Andalas.
The outcome of the visit was very fruitful. Many students expressed their intention to study at PSU. Also, new opportunities for cooperation, such as teaching and research collaboration among faculty members, and students and staff exchange programs, are planned to be implemented in the near future.
