PSU was invited to visit Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC), Siem Reap Campus, for academic purposes. On 6 April 2018, a delegation led by PSU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul visited PUC and discussed the possibilities of new academic cooperation in tourism with the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, and the Faculty of International Studies, Phuket Campus. PUC is a famous private university with three campuses in Cambodia. Its tourism program has been operated at Phnom Penh Campus for years, but it has just been set up at Siem Reap for a year. This presents a good opportunity for both universities to have mutual tourism-related programs and activities at Siem Reap Campus.
In addition, PSU was warmly invited to join the Khmer New Year Celebrations held by PUC in the evening of 7 April, where PSU delegates learned about Khmer culture and tradition through a variety of activities, such as a food contest and Khmer traditional games run by PUC students.
