A delegation from the Ministry of Health, Bhutan, led by Dr. Pandup Tshering, Director General, was warmly and cordially welcomed by the executives of the Faculty of Medicine, led by Assoc. Prof. Puttisak Puttawibul, MD., Dean, on May 29, 2017. Assoc. Prof. Paramee Rhongsuksai, MD., Vice Dean for Research Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Teerha Piratvisuth, MD., Vice Dean for International Affairs, along with staff members also joined the welcome meeting. The aims of their visit were to meet with the Bhutanese physicians joining the Master’s Degree Program in Medical Science and the training courses at the PSU Faculty of Medicine, as well as to discuss further collaboration on prospective medical training programs.
