On 18 August 2016, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, welcomed distinguished delegates from 6 Muhammadiyah universities, Indonesia, led by Prof. Dr. Lincolin Arsyad, Chairperson of the Council of Higher Education Research and Development of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah. The objectives of this visit were to discuss the expansion of the collaboration between PSU and several Muhammadiyah universities, as well as to explore the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding at university level.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirirat Pinsuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PSU also joined the welcoming meeting for the distinguished Indonesian guests and participated in the fruitful discussions. The main topic of the discussions was the possibility of signing the MOU between PSU and the Central Board of Muhammadiyah, which will allow all universities under this consortium to easily initiate cooperation with PSU. Other topics of mutual interest discussed are staff and student exchange programs, community services, internships and joint research.
