Ten delegates from Prince of Songkla University (PSU), inclusive of five medical specialists, and led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutamas Satasook, PSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, visited the Kingdom of Bahrain from July 16-18, 2018.
The delegates were granted an audience with His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and had the opportunity to discuss the implementation of the Visiting Doctor Program and other future cooperation in the medical field with H.E. Minister of Health of Bahrain and other related Bahraini organizations.
During this visit, H.E. Mr. Thanis Na Songkhla, Ambassador of Thailand to Bahrain, kindly led the PSU delegates to meet with various organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including key stakeholders in the medical field. In particular, the visits to two state hospitals from 17-18 July 2018 enabled both administrative and medical personnel to exchange information in many areas of mutual interest.
The visit was a great opportunity to discuss future possible cooperation between the related Bahraini organizations and PSU.
