Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Siriwattana Phannawadee presided over the award ceremony at Samyan Mitr Town, Bangkok, on 27 September 2023.
Thailand Tourism Awards is a crucial event for uniting partners in the industry to establish sustainable tourism goals, aiming to promote sustainable tourism and economic development with a low carbon footprint according to the BCG Model. This year, TAT introduced a new category, 'Low Carbon & Sustainability,' to emphasize the commitment to low carbon and sustainable tourism, elevating the standards of the Thai tourism industry.
These awards create distinctive strengths, add value, and increase market opportunities for businesses to reach quality-conscious tourists who care about the environment. They also raise awareness and appreciation for environmental conservation among business operators and tourists, promoting the involvement of all stakeholders in driving the Thai tourism industry towards sustainable growth.
