Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn kindly granted an audience to the representatives of Thai higher education institutions offering scholarships to Cambodian students to further their higher education in Thailand, on 11 September 2018. PSU President Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub and representatives from each relevant faculty, together with the sixth batch of 23 Cambodian scholarship students enrolled at PSU in the academic year 2017, attended this remarkable event at the Chitralada Palace.

Graduate-level scholarships were offered first in the academic year 2013. About 45 Cambodian scholarship students under this project successfully graduated from various faculties at PSU since 2014. At present, scholarship areas expand to other fields, including Engineering, Thai Studies, Medicine, Applied Mathematics, ICT, Biology, Chemistry, Plant Science, Animal Science, Food Science and Nutrition, Digital Media, Earth System Science, and Tourism Business Management.
