PSU ranked #30 in the country, #617 in the world as a green university

     PSU has been ranked #30 in Thailand and #617 worldwide in UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2021, as announced by the University of Indonesia (UI) on 14 December 2021. The ranking represents a four-place progress in Thailand, while also moving 43 places upward on the international scale, compared to results from the previous year.

      To reach this year’s placement, PSU has received 4,900 points out of 10,000, reaching the 30th position on a list of 39 universities in Thailand, and the 617th position on a global list consisting of 956 universities around the world. This is the first year that PSU submitted information of all five campuses, and received an improved ranking accordingly. 

      UI GreenMetric World University Rankings evaluates universities around the world for their commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly development. The evaluation is carried out via six assessment criteria: Setting and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Waste (treatment), Water (use), Transportation, and Education.
