PSU visited Czech university CZU for academic cooperation under the Erasmus+ framework

 

     A PSU delegation visited the Faculty of Tropical AgriScience, Czech University of Life Science Prague (CZU) between 21-25 March 2022. The delegation, consisting of Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wongkot Phuphumirat, Assistant President for International Affairs, alongside members of the Faculty of Natural Resources, including Assistant Dean Dr. Rungrat Sae Yang, Dr. Pongpachara Tarasook, and Erasmus+ project coordinator Dr. Chutima Tantikitti, discussed academic cooperation, and followed up on long-term collaborative projects under the Erasmus+ framework, including EURASIA 2, ALFABET, AskAsia, SIMPLE, and PISAI.

       The discussed collaboration will lead to the development of a Double Degree Master's Study Program (DDMP) on international cooperation and agricultural economics, focusing on student and staff exchange, academic and research cooperation, and arrangement of summer courses. The program will also feature online collaborations, including teaching, research, and collaborative activities with students to create a friendly atmosphere. The meeting was honored by Dr. Tereza Slámová, representative of the Agrinatura Association, to advise on cooperation between CZU and PSU in the international network.

       During the meeting, prof. PhDr. Michal Lošťák, Vice President for International Affairs; Mr. Lukáš Pospíšil, Head of International Affairs; Prof. Patrick Van Damme, Dean; Dr. Petra Chaloupkova, dr.hc, Associate Dean for International Affairs; and other representatives from CZU also discussed the expected success of the new cooperation between the two universities.
