Ms. Pauline Turgis, Head of Campus France Thailand; Mr. Pollawat Kantapom, Student Advisor at Campus France Thailand; and Ms. Alexandra Barnoux, Chargé de mission for Scientific and Higher Education at Campus France Thailand; an organization under the French Embassy in Bangkok, visited PSU on September 19, 2016. The objective of their visit was to provide PSU students and staff with valuable information regarding the opportunities offered to further their studies in France and the available scholarships.
After a warm welcome speech by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, Mr. Pollawat made a comprehensive presentation, including life in France, cost of living, number of universities and schools in France, and scholarships offered by various institutions as for example the Franco-Thai Scholarship. Financial assistance is also available for Thai students and researchers for short-term study or research in France. Our distinguished delegates also highlighted the fact that there are also several programs offered in English language in France.
