Ms. Marta Meszaros from Szechenyi Istvan University, Hungary, visited PSU on January 4, 2016. Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, warmly welcomed the esteemed guest.
The visit was part of an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement signed last year by the PSU Faculty of Engineering and the Hungarian university. Ms. Meszaros, an international specialist, offered opportunities to continue this collaboration this year, extending its partnership to PSU faculties of interest, including the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Management Sciences and the International College. The fruitful discussions came to a conclusion at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Phuket Campus.
Collaboration with the prestigious Szechenyi Istvan University opens a wide range of European educational and research opportunities to PSU faculty and students, who can also take advantage of the Hungarian university’s close collaboration with multinational companies such as Audi, Nokia and Phillips. Moreover, visiting students and faculty from the culturally rich region of Central Europe will enhance the dynamic international scene that PSU is well-known for.
