Delegates from Nakdonggang National Institute of Biological Resources, South Korea, visit PSU

            Dr. Young Hee AHN, President of Nakdonggang National Institute of Biological Resources (NNIBR), accompanied by three distinguished delegates, visited PSU on 29 November 2017 for discussing on future academic cooperation, especially in the field of Biology. Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, together with key representatives from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, warmly welcomed them. NNIBR have been coordinating since a long period of time with the PSU Department of Biology and conducted joint research in bio-resources in fresh water. The fruitful discussion focused on the possibility to exchange staff, and conducting joint research in biodiversity especially in Songkhla Lake basin. PSU Department of Biology showed their interest to send students to attend the training courses at NNIBR for a period of three months.

            Moreover, NNIBR and PSU signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will further facilitate the cooperation between the two institutions.
