On 5-7 December 2023, the PSU President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, and Vice Chairman of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wandee Suttharangsee, Director of the Office of Education and Learning Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wongkot Phuphumirat, Assistant President for International Affairs, attended the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) Conference. The conference took place at the University of Science & Technology of Hanoi, Vietnam.
The conference was held under the theme of “International Cooperation toward Excellence in Training and Research”. It brought together senior executives from Thai higher education institutions and representatives from various institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. The purpose of the conference was to gather feedback on the academic activities of each country in the past year. The discussion focused on international mission, staff development, research, and the expansion of the collaboration networks.
Furthermore, executives from PSU and other Thai universities paid a visit to the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH), a government university in Vietnam that places a strong emphasis on science and technology.
