Prof. Dr. Aswaldi Anwar, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Agriculture of Andalas University, Indonesia, led a group of 33 academic and administrative staff to visit PSU Hat Yai Campus on February 1, 2016. The objective of their visit was to discuss the possibilities for student exchange programs with credit transfer, as well as the strengthening of the cooperation with PSU. Andalas University's students could get financial support from their university and Indonesian government to participate in exchange programs at PSU. At present, PSU and Andalas University participate in fruitful collaborative activities under the IMT-GT UNINET umbrella.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattara Aiyarak, PSU Vice President for Global Relations and Informatics, together with the International Affairs Office team, warmly welcomed the distinguished delegates and shared valuable information on the possibilities to further develop the cooperation between the two universities.
After the welcoming meeting, Andalas University's representatives visited the PSU Faculty of Natural Resources and discussed more details with the faculty's administration on the initiation of the collaboration in areas of common interest. The distinguished guests also had the chance to visit PSU's state-of-the-art library.
